The Westside Bistro provides practical training to our Bus Person, Food Server, Kitchen Steward, Baker’s Helper, and Professional Cook students. Students put their classroom knowledge to the test during their applied learning hours in the Westside Bistro. The Westside Bistro allows students to refine their technical skills, improve their customer service, and boost their confidence.
The Westside Bistro offers a seasonal lunch menu, which incorporates local produce and ingredients. We host occasional pop-up brunches and dinners for students to gain experience working different dayparts.
Proceeds from the Westside Bistro are reinvested in a CALV scholarship fund to fulfill our vision to reduce poverty and eliminate unemployment by providing vocational and job-readiness training to youth, adults, and displaced workers.
Located at the Events Center entrance of the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas
