The Culinary Training Academy offers a wide range of training opportunities in the hospitality industry.  Whether you are just starting in the industry or seeking to advance your career, the CTA can help you acquire the skills and training you need to succeed.

Graduates from the CTA receive a hospitality credential which is recognized by participating employers and gives graduates a competitive edge in getting a new job or advancing your career in the industry.

Getting started is easy:

1. Call 924-2100 to talk with enrollment specialist or come to one of two enrollment locations to enroll - 710 West Lake Mead in North Las Vegas or 1630 Commerce Street at the Culinary Union Hall.
   
   
2. Apply for a health card, sheriff's card, TAM card, or other required identification card required for training and referral to employment.


3. Enroll in an employability or Vocational English class based on your needs to get prepared prior to starting your vocational course, if applicable.


4. Attend the vocational training that gets you the career you want in the hospitality industry.


5. Participate in the organized Career Club sessions that help students complete on-line job applications and referrals for real job leads.
